Ceiling Array Microphone

Ceiling-mounted beamforming array microphone for meeting rooms, with network audio output and coverage that stays fixed when the furniture moves.

Table microphones disappear from the room the moment someone moves the furniture, and every cable run under the floor has to be planned before the screed goes down. A ceiling array puts the pickup above the table instead and aims it electronically at whoever is speaking. Because the unit is out of reach it also stays where it was commissioned, which is what keeps gain settings valid from one meeting to the next. Power and audio normally arrive on a single network cable.
