Video, Audio & Data Fiber Converter

Converter pairs that carry video, audio, alarm contacts and a data channel over one fiber, so cameras and desks can sit kilometres apart.

A pair replaces the coax bundle between a camera or a control desk and the equipment room with a single fiber. Video, audio, alarm contacts and a data channel travel together, and each one is handed back at the far end as the interface it started as, so the equipment on both sides does not change. Because the link is optical, distance stops being a coax limit and earth loops between buildings disappear.
