Outdoor Waterproof Network Enclosure
Weatherproof enclosure for a switch, media converter and fiber termination at a camera pole or outdoor cabinet.
A camera pole, a gatehouse or a car park usually needs a switch and a media converter near the equipment, but there is no room to build one. A weatherproof enclosure holds the switch, the power supply and the fiber termination at the point of use, so the run back to the building stays optical. Cable entries, ventilation and condensation control are what separate a working installation from one that fails in the first wet season. Size is set by what has to go inside, not by the pole.
How it is specified

- Protection rating, and whether it is rated for direct sunlight
