Optical Fiber Fusion Splicer
Core alignment fusion splicer for single fiber field work, with automatic arc calibration.
Splicing in a manhole is different from splicing in a lab: the unit has to survive dust, rain and vibration and still produce a repeatable loss. The splicer shows the fiber image and the estimated loss on screen, so a bad splice is caught before the closure is sealed.
