Conference Speakerphone
Portable conference speakerphone with 360-degree pickup, echo cancellation and USB or Bluetooth connection for huddle rooms and small meetings.
In a small room the microphone is usually the weak point: one laptop on the table picks up the person next to it and nothing else. A speakerphone puts an array of capsules and a loudspeaker in one unit, so everyone around the table is heard and the far end comes back without extra cabling. It connects over USB and usually Bluetooth as well, with no driver to install. The unit is meant to be carried between rooms rather than fixed to the table.
How it is specified
- Pickup radius and the number of microphone capsules
- Whether the array is fixed or steerable, and how echo cancellation and noise reduction are handled
- Connection: USB, Bluetooth, or a dongle that carries both
- Battery runtime and charging over USB-C where the unit is portable
- Daisy-chaining of a second unit for longer tables
- Whether a wired expansion microphone can be added for a larger room
- Compatibility with the conferencing platforms already in use
Where it is used
- Huddle rooms and small meeting rooms
- Home offices and executive desks
- Temporary meeting spaces and site offices
- Interview and consultation rooms
