Video Conference Camera

Pan-tilt-zoom conference camera that frames a whole table, follows the active speaker and still reaches the whiteboard at the far end of the room.

A meeting room normally needs one camera that can cover the full table, turn to whoever is speaking and zoom in on a whiteboard. This unit pans, tilts and zooms smoothly, and can be driven from the room controller, a hand remote or the conferencing application itself.

How it is specified

  • Mounting: desk stand, wall bracket, ceiling mount or inverted under a display
  • Optical zoom range and sensor size matched to the depth of the room
  • Control path: hand remote, serial, network, or direct USB to the room PC
  • Number of presets kept for table, lectern, whiteboard and entrance views
  • Power and cabling: local adapter, or power over the cable already in the ceiling

Where it is used

  • Small and medium meeting rooms with a single display
  • Boardrooms and training rooms with a long table
  • Lecture halls and auditoriums where the speaker moves
  • Telemedicine, remote review and distance-learning rooms

Other configurations in this range

  • Video Conference Room Kit — Camera, table or ceiling microphones, speakers, cabling and control delivered as one scope, sized by room dimensions and audio coverage.

How to choose

  • Start from the room rather than from the camera: seats, length, ceiling height and whether the room divides. Those answers set the camera count and the loudspeaker layout, and the rest of the bill of materials follows.
